Sakatah Singing Hills State Trail

Midpoint Trail Head is Located in Waterville off State Hwy 13, 1/4 mile North of State Hwy 60.  (2 minutes away)

The Sakatah Singing Hills State Trail is a 39 mile multiple use trail running between Mankato and Fairbault, which has been developed on an abandoned railroad grade. The trail lies in the transition zone between what was once the “BigWoods” and the vast prairies.

We are located in the Outlet Mall in Medford, MN.  Come and experience Minnesota's premier reptile destination. Marvel at the amazing creatures of the reptile and amphibian world including snakes, lizards, crocodilians, toads, frogs and salamanders.  Our zoo is home to over 150 kinds of animals from all over the world.  We’re dedicated to connecting people with nature by providing a fun, safe, and educational wildlife experience.

Village of Yesteryear

1431 Austin Rd, Owatonna, MN 55060 (30 minutes away)

In 1962 the Society was offered the Saco Church located 7 miles southwest of Owatonna, and with the support of the Steele County Agricultural Society, the Society permanently leased a portion of the southeast section of the fairgrounds to begin a pioneer village.   The original layout was similar to the center of Owatonna and its Central Park, which was originally circular. Thus was established the Village of Yesteryear, which has grown in the years since through the additional move of historic structures, as well as museum buildings built on site.

Waseca Waterpark

The Waseca Waterpark is a family friendly environment with different features for all ages. We have a zero depth entry with a turtle slide, guizers, and water features. We have a water walk along with a diving board and 2 slides.

Waseca Art Center

Cross Country Soaring

3401 Highway 21 W, Faribault, MN 55021 (20 minutes away)

We are a commercial glider operation based at the Faribault Municipal Airport , about 35 minutes south of Minneapolis on I-35W. We operate from April through October. We offer glider rides, instruction, glider rental, and tow service. Flying gliders, or sailplanes, is fun, educational, beautiful and knows no age boundaries.

Indian Island Winery

Indian Island Winery is a farm winery with grapes grown in our own vineyard and other local growers. Indian Island Winery is a family operated business owned by Ray and Lisa Winter in partnership with son Tom, daughter Angie, and daughter-in-law Angela. Our winery was built on a site once used by Native Americans as a summer hunting camp. Teeming with wildlife, the land once was nearly 100% surrounded by water. Water's Edge Mini Golf
